Taqwa

Continuing our studies on Taqwa

What’s the qualities of the Motaqoun?

Allah the exalted told us some of their descriptions in sura (Al Baqarah)

2.This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who have Taqwa (Motaqeen)

3.Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;

4.And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.

5.They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.

Also in sura (Aal I Imraan)

133. Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the Motaqeen

134.Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;-

135.And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done.

136.For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!

The benefits of Taqwa in this world:

sura (At Talaq)

“And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out,

3. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine.
and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.
and if any one fears Allah, He will remove his ills, from him, and will enlarge his reward.”

The benefits of Taqwa in the year after:

There are many verses from different sura, while you are home or work can look them up.

15.As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs,

17.As to the Righteous, they will be in Gardens, and in Happiness,-

54.As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers,

31.Verily for the Righteous there will be a fulfillment of (the heart’s) desires;

32.Gardens enclosed, and grapevines;

May Allah send his prayers and peace upon the prophet and his family’s and companions
May Allah grant us Taqwa!
